Botulism is a medical condition that makes it difficult for people to move, see clearly or breathe. Its causes, in addition to certain contaminated foods, traumatic injuries and intestinal issues, can be traced to botulinum toxin type A, a chemical used in cosmetic neuromodulator injections such as Botox, Dysport and Daxxi, which blocks muscle movements to reduce wrinkles or alter facial appearances when administered properly. Ndemic Is Looking for Beta Testers to Play Plague Inc: The Cure - DroidGamers

Way back in the early days of the coronavirus pandemic, developer Ndemic announced its intention to create a new mode for Plague Inc that would see players curing rather than spreading a deadly disease.

Talk about jumping on the bandwagon.

Things went strangely quiet at Ndemic HQ after that, presumably because it was busy working on the promised mod. Touted as Plague Inc's most significant update, The Cure is apparently just around the corner, and Ndemic wants you to help get it over the line.

Click on the Googledocs link in the tweet above and you'll be taken to a form asking for your preferred Plague Inc difficulty, your favorite disease type, whether you've played Rebel Inc, and so on. It also asks whether you'll be able to provide feedback in two days, possibly hinting at an imminent release.

Plague Inc: The Cure will see you monitoring the world for outbreaks, controlling the spread of pathogens, and tracing infected patients.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — An outbreak of the highly pathogenic avian influenza virus in poultry in 2014-15 resulted in the destruction of more than 50 million chickens and turkeys in the U.S., causing billions of dollars in economic loss. This animal disease outbreak — the worst in U.S. history — is one example of how devastating a foreign animal disease can be to animal agriculture and the country's economy. The resurgence of avian influenza in multiple states, including Pennsylvania, is once again bringing the importance of preventing animal diseases to the forefront, noted Suresh Kuchipudi, clinical professor of microbiology in Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences.
