Newly-reported Monkeypox (MPV) data is often subject to change. Owing to public interest in up-to-date disease reporting, the Illinois Department of Public Health is presenting Illinoisans with the latest data and has chosen to publish the daily reported MPV case counts as they are reported. Therefore, data and case counts presented on the website are subject to normal and expected change as cases are interviewed by local health departments. Day-to-day changes in case counts may occur as cases are being interviewed.
