collapsed lung :: Article Creator Fight In Adrian Ends With Literal Back-stabbing, Collapsed Lung ADRIAN, Mich. – An altercation in Adrian ended Tuesday afternoon with someone being stabbed in the back. It happened at about 2:45 p.M. Tuesday, March 25, near the intersection of Maple Avenue and Ormsby Street. Police said the victim suffered a collapsed lung after being stabbed in the back. They were taken to a hospital and are expected to be OK. Police said they have identified a suspect, but no one is currently in custody. Detectives are looking for witnesses to find out what happened before the stabbing. The victim and suspect are believed to know each other, and the stabbing wasn't random. There is no threat to public safety. Anyone with information or witnesses is asked to contact the Adrian Police Department at 517-264-4808. Oct. 26: Plumas Public Health reports 62 new cases - Plumas County Newspapers

The Plumas County Public Health Agency announced this evening, Oct. 26, that there are 62 new cases to report. The health agency has been posting positive test results twice a week — on Mondays and Thursdays, and the agency last reported 64 cases on Thursday, Oct. 21. This week Public Health delayed its Monday reporting until today. Today's case count includes those reported on Oct. 22 and 25.

There are now 205 active cases; 1,703 total cases, and 14 deaths.

The 62 cases reported today are as follows:

Twelve cases for the Southern Region (Quincy/Meadow Valley): Seven confirmed on Oct. 22; and five confirmed Oct. 25.

Thirty-five cases for the Eastern Region (Graeagle/Portola): Nineteen confirmed on Oct. 22;  and sixteen confirmed on Oct. 25.

Nine cases for the Western Region (Chester/Lake Almanor): Five confirmed on Oct. 22; and four confirmed on Oct. 25.

Six cases confirmed for the Northern Region (Greenville/Indian Valley): Five confirmed on Oct. 22; and one confirmed on Oct. 25.

dented can botulism :: Article Creator Three Canadians Sickened In France's Botulism Outbreak Are From Quebec: PHAC The Public Health Agency of Canada has confirmed that the three Canadians who fell ill in a botulism outbreak in France are from Quebec. They're among at least 12 people who have suspected botulism after eating sardines prepared and served at Tchin Tchin Wine Bar in Bordeaux, France. The food was eaten between Sept. 4 and Sept. 10. The Associated Press has reported that some patients have been released from hospital, but most of them are in intensive care or critical condition. Canada's public health agency says it cannot divulge the condition of the patients from Quebec because it is considered private health information.
